The challenge was to communicate accessible education to a diverse audience of adult learners that are balancing work, family, and other life commitments, while addressing common barriers such as private education skepticism and rigid program structures. The brand needed to feel supportive and trustworthy to position Catalyst College as a student-first alternative. In collaboration with Webkind, a new identity was created that clearly expressed this mission.

We began with a brand strategy workshop with the client to define Catalyst College's rebrand, ensuring the new identity would resonate with their target audience and align with their mission. We positioned the identity to reflect a balance of professionalism and warmth, avoiding overly corporate or institutional cues. The identity was executed through a clean, modern visual system centered around a versatile combination mark. The system was designed with flexibility in mind, including multiple logo variations and clear usage guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints, from social media to institutional materials.

The final brand identity positions Catalyst College as a credible, modern, and student-focused institution within a competitive education landscape. The cohesive visual system translates seamlessly across applications, from digital platforms to marketing materials. In addition to the brand identity, supporting materials were created, including a letterhead and a viewbook designed to guide and inform prospective students as they consider education with Catalyst College.
